Raising the Bar: Celebrating Our 2025 HotShots

The 2025 HotShots program marked one of Bios’ most impactful years yet- bringing together dedication, learning, creativity, and person‑centered leadership across every region of the organization. From day one, the program’s purpose was clear: recognize team members who go above and beyond while providing growth‑centered opportunities that strengthen both individual skillsets and the Bios culture as a whole. This year, HotShots not only fulfilled that mission, but they exceeded it.

Employees had several pathways to earn their HotShot recognition in 2025, each intentionally designed to support development in meaningful, real‑world ways. According to the official program criteria, participants could pursue options such as PCT Coaches Training, Documenting Moments, Dementia Training, Event Extras, DSP Training, or the PCT Tools Program, all while maintaining good standing with their required position‑specific training and HR documentation. These tracks aligned with Bios’ commitment to person‑centered practice and created opportunities for participants to stretch themselves professionally.

What set 2025 apart was the remarkable engagement and enthusiasm seen across the company. Internal communication throughout the year highlights how often team members reached out to ask about enrolling, re‑enrolling, or catching up after missed sessions. Even after sign‑ups formally closed, employees continued to express interest—so much so that the program team allowed January additions for those who were committed and ready to begin. This surge of interest demonstrated a powerful internal momentum around growth and professional development.

The success of the HotShots pathways themselves was equally noteworthy. The Documenting Moments Program celebrated employees who enhanced their photography and storytelling skills, capturing meaningful moments that reflect the heart of Bios’ mission. Teams messages throughout November showcased celebrations across multiple offices, applauding the creativity and intentionality participants brought to their assignments.

The Training Program HotShots—those who completed Person‑Centered Thinking and CPI Training—were recognized across states as well. These team members not only expanded their knowledge but strengthened Bios’ overall capacity to deliver skilled, compassionate support.

The Event Extras Program, another standout track, empowered staff to plan, coordinate, and elevate local events across the organization. Their excitement and creativity brought new energy to gatherings and helped foster community connection in ways that resonated deeply with colleagues and the people Bios supports.

Across all tracks, what made 2025 extraordinary was the heart behind the effort. Participants submitted learning logs, practiced PCT tools, completed multi‑month commitments, built new skills, and supported their peers—all while carrying out their day‑to‑day roles.

As recognized in the HotShots year‑end celebrations, these employees embodied what it means to be person‑centered, committed, and growth‑driven. They strengthened teams, invested in themselves, and ultimately uplifted the Bios community. The results were so inspiring that many areas encouraged early sign‑ups for 2026, anticipating another year of remarkable engagement.

The 2025 HotShots have truly set the bar high. Their dedication reminds us that excellence is not a moment—it’s a culture. And thanks to them, Bios is stronger, more united, and more inspired than ever.
