Chris Mercer is the Director of IT for Bios, where he oversees all aspects of Information Technology and provides quality assurance oversight across Bios Companies in Oklahoma and Tennessee. In this role, he ensures that both technology systems and compliance standards support the organization’s mission and operations.
Chris began his career with Bios in 2010 as a Direct Support Professional and went on to serve as a Program Manager, Lead Program Manager, Area Director, Standards & Compliance Coordinator, and Director of Program Analytics & Quality before moving into IT leadership. His unique background across both operations and compliance gives him a comprehensive perspective on aligning technology solutions with quality assurance needs.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University. Born and raised in Tennessee, Chris lives there with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he is a devoted fan of the Tennessee Volunteers and Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoys spending time with his family, camping, hiking, and playing basketball.
