Chris Mercer is the Chief Information Officer for Bios, responsible for leading enterprise technology strategy, information systems, data and analytics, and cybersecurity across Bios companies in Oklahoma and Tennessee. He also provides oversight for quality assurance and compliance initiatives to ensure that both technology infrastructure and operational standards support the organization’s mission, regulatory requirements, and long-term growth.

Chris began his career with Bios in 2010 as a Direct Support Professional and progressed through several leadership roles including Program Manager, Lead Program Manager, Area Director, Standards & Compliance Coordinator, Director of Program Analytics & Quality, and Director of IT before assuming his current role. His experience across operations, compliance, and technology provides him with a comprehensive perspective on aligning technology solutions with quality assurance and organizational performance.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University. A Tennessee native, he lives in the state with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping and hiking, and cheering on his children at their various sports activities. He is also an avid fan of the Tennessee Volunteers and Kansas City Chiefs.
